ABOUT THE TEACHER

YOGA FOR OSTEOPOROSIS

I have been specialising in Yoga for Osteoporosis for over 5 years and am a regular volunteer for the Royal Osteoporosis Society.

I’m passionate about enabling people with osteoporosis and other health conditions to maintain their quality of life through exercise. I am committed to teaching yoga in a way which protects the bones and joints while improving posture, flexibility, strength, balance and wellbeing.

I myself have osteoporosis, and since my diagnosis I have modified my own practice to protect my spine. I have found that modified poses can offer the same feelings of integrity and control as deeper versions of the poses.

My Teaching Credentials
